With starting my final year at Plymouth University i have been studying insects there interaction with humans, the human perception of insects and how the media has influenced this, and the way they move. I started off taking images with my 200mm macro lens and have developed my image making ad started to use the scanner to get a different view of the insect.

Iused a canon 40D a macro lens to get close to the insects and an extension tube to get that little bit closer. Rusty!!!

while going for a walk on St Ives beach i kept coming across objects that had been eroded by the sea. I kinda liked the rustiness, and how the objects looked so effected against the white sand. Images before editing.

Natural History

I took some photographs at Newquay zoo for the collage calender and for one of my Natural History units.

Bali fish markets

I loved the colours and patterns shown on all the fish at the local Balinese markets, with so many differeny types, sizes and sorts for the locals to choose from.

Bali markets

I started a project comparing different types of markets, i looked at the ways in which local cornish markets vary to markets around the world. the project is and ongoing one, and will grow in time.
